EM 385 1-1 2024 Edition - Guidance Manual

This guide was designed to detail the significant changes from the 2014 edition of the EM 385-1-1 to the 2024 edition of the EM 385-1-1 which is effective March 15, 2024.

The USACE has drastically revised this safety manual including but not limited to the name, numbering system, and paragraph structure. This manual used for construction operations on government property has been revised and new chapters and requirements for safety are drastically different than the 10-year-old 2014 version. 

This guide will highlight all the significant changes and provide the reader with a complete understanding in how to navigate the new Safety and Occupational Health Requirements.
